The Li'l Murderer is a Soul of Rebirth enemy from Final Fantasy II, probably a tribute to the Goblin recolor of Final Fantasy IV. Because it is found on the first floor of the Unknown Palace, and it drops Flare Tomes and Black Robes, it is an ideal enemy to fight. They are not very powerful enemies, being the weakest in the area, though can still pose a threat to low-leveled parties. The damage from Thunderbolt XII can be reduced by wearing either a Gold Hairpin or Diamond Helm, leaving only their measly physical attacks and their Boulders IX ability to deal with.
