Teclesius was a Zigori man, a scholar who made his home amidst the Zigori settlements within the abandoned Zor'l'Ti Cooperation Citadel. His home was filled with trinkets and other odds and ends. When Ari and Cassie entered his hometown, he was the one to make contact. At first, he believed Ari to be a demon like the rest of his people, a Dark Titan. But he was curious enough to speak to Ari, and soon realized he was just a being from another world. He was astounded at the prospect of Earth -- a whole world, filled with gods. This made him wonder if his people were right to forsake the "old ways" - building ships that "sail through the heavens". Ultimately, he helped Ari by telling him where the keyhole is, needed to access the second floor of the tower. (Squids in Forests: "Fried Calamari
