"Walking on the Sun" is a song by Smash Mouth which is a San Jose, California band fronted by Steve Harwell and including Greg Camp, Paul DeLisle, and Kevin Coleman (who subsequently left). It has an intentional 1960s retro sound, and in fact is inspired by the 1966 single "Swan's Splashdown" by the Electronic music duo Perrey and Kingsley (Jean-Jacques Perrey and Gershon Kingsley).
