The issue consisted of a single new title page, and a reprint of the 35th through 51st pages of the TOS comic adaptation: "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", as adapted and edited by Marv Wolfman from the screenplay by Harold Livingston, based on a story by Gene Roddenberry & Alan Dean Foster. The story is told from two narrators: one - from the main character, Niel, who is an active first-person narrator; and two - mixed in with the first, is the narration done in the third-person.
