While in Luxembourg, James Grayson founded Eric Hudson's crashed VTOL in a trench and the fact that Grayson writes in his diary, "I lost my hero months ago, and today Jonny finally lost his", means that Hudson is dead and could have died on that day while defending the Luxembourg Fortress.
