News of your brother's death comes as a great shock to all of us and his loss will be keenly in felt in this organization. Personally, and for the officers and men of this command, please accept our deepest sympathies. Our records indicate that all three of your brothers have been killed in action, which means that you as the sole surviving male in your family, have been granted an honorable discharge from the United States Army.
