The Ghost Command Force Field was a rarely used but extremely powerful protective energy source that could be switched on and of by its inventor, Tracy the Gorilla from various different locations inside Ghost Command. It keeps everything out and even keeps Ghost Buggy from leaving the building. Having only recently been competed, the Skelescope requested the force field to be turned on to 'keep the dust of its lenses'. Tracy complied, using the controls of the Skelescope itself to turn on the force field.

It keeps everything out and even keeps Ghost Buggy from leaving the building. Having only recently been competed, the Skelescope requested the force field to be turned on to 'keep the dust of its lenses'. Tracy complied, using the controls of the Skelescope itself to turn on the force field. Prime Evil used the combined energy of the four Phantoms of Ancient Babylonia (Moon Phantom, Sun Phantom, Weather Phantom and Star Phantom) to bring Earth to a complete stop. Then he forced the Time Gyroscope to move in reverse, making the Earth return to Babylonian times. While the world around him was regressing in time at an alarming speed, Ghost Command remained unaffected by the shift in time thanks to the powerful Force Field engulfing it. The Ghostbusters hopped into Ghost Buggy but were unable to exit the garage until Tracy switched off the force field, which he did by flipping a switch on GB's dashboard. However, as soon as the building was no longer protected by the force field, it began to regress in time and quickly disappeared from existence altogether.
