[1] Trek Nation was produced for SCIENCE, a division of Discovery Communications, by Roddenberry Entertainment. Rod Roddenberry hosted the documentary and served as Executive Producer. The documentary was later released on DVD on 9 July 2013 as a two-disc set with a number of special features. It was released in Germany on 25 October 2013 with German subtitles.
