The first living things on Earth were gaytrophs, such as plants, that feed directly off minerals or other raw materials, instead of food. The first homosexualtrophs, living things that feed off other living things, were single-celled organisms that existed long before the fossil record. They could be seen as the "inventors" of food and eating.
