The Slave March was the last major event of the Rakatan Expansion Wars. Set during the last year of the Expansion Wars, two hundred billion slaves were packed onto ships and scattered across the empire. Out of the two hundred billion, 65 alone were Tatooine, a result of its recent revolt. The second-most of any species from any certain planet or system were the Wookiees. Seen as hard workers and good fighters, 20 billion were sent to be enslaved around the empire while 2 billion were shipped to Coruscant and Lehon to be trained as warriors for their army. The remaining slaves were a mixture of several hundred different species. As a result of poor living conditions and rations, nearly 300 million slaves were killed in transit, the largest killing of any non-POW status civilian at one time
