abstract	After his father was attacked the night before, Ranma and Akane try to figure out just what Genma's relationship is with his attacker, "Ukyo Kuonji". That afternoon, Ukyo appears at Furinkan High School, allowing Ranma to finally remember them as "Ucchan" from his childhood. Ranma agrees to take up Ukyo's challenge and initially struggles, but gains the upper hand after sending Ukyo flying out of the rink. Once the pair land in the supply shed, Ranma notices Ukyo's cleavage and learns that "he" is actually a "she". Despite still being hostile towards Ranma, once he compliments how cute she is and seeing his lack-of-interest in Akane, Ukyo puts her anger aside in the hope of becoming Ranma's only fiancé. Some days later Ryoga returns and begins fighting Ukyo, until learning of her true gender. Subsequently the pair meet at Ukyo's new restaurant where they devise a plan to split up Ranma and Akane for good so that they themselves get to be with them. Unfortunately things don't go to plan due to a combination of Ryoga's own shyness and Ranma disguising herself as an apparent fiancé of Ryoga.
