  • The Republic of South Galour is a sovereign nation situated mostly on the southwestern peninsula of the island of Ouranor. It is part of the Incorporated States of Ouranor and a member of the Guild of Nations. It is lead by a multi-party democracy, though recent history shows evidence of rigged elections ever since President-General Theodore Nero gained power in the year 132 election. Although the nation has one of the strongest economies of Gielinor, it has recently plummeted into recession following a continued military struggle with South Galour's main rival, North Galour. The population continue to enjoy a good standard of living however, and most are employed in the army, as shop owners or public service providers. Its main economy is based on trade and tourism. The nation's current capital is the city of Quentin. Quentin is widely accepted as the largest city in the known world, covering almost all of the nation itself. The much smaller city of Kharrock is located in the north west. Most of the northern area of the region is dominated by a National Park, with an illegal black market presence. A smaller City park exists within central Quentin.
