Private Leonard Huston, nicknamed "Cool Hand" for his skill at disarming explosives, was an ODST in the UNSC Marine Corps. He had served in multiple battles throughout the Covenant War, and a few minor skirmishes during the Insurrection period. He was assigned to Task Force Bravo under the command of Brian Hartley. During the late years of the Insurrection, Huston joined the UNSC in hopes that he could stop the Rebels from committing atrocities to his home planet, Bounty. During his brief time as a Marine, Huston was often called in to disarm Rebel explosives.

He had served in multiple battles throughout the Covenant War, and a few minor skirmishes during the Insurrection period. He was assigned to Task Force Bravo under the command of Brian Hartley. During the late years of the Insurrection, Huston joined the UNSC in hopes that he could stop the Rebels from committing atrocities to his home planet, Bounty. During his brief time as a Marine, Huston was often called in to disarm Rebel explosives. He served in Task Force Bravo during the Battle of Installation 04, operating as the explosives specialist. While planting a charge on a doorway, he was attacked by multiple Flood Infection Forms. He sacrificed himself as a diversion, in order to have the team continue the mission. The team finished planting the charge, and, reluctantly, let Huston die. Luckily, he was killed by the ensuing explosion before he had to go through the agony of Flood Transmutation.
