  • Broz was a Romulan Star Empire Class M planet located in the Stelam Deletham system, of the Triangle sector at the edge of the Alpha and Beta Quadrant. The planet possessed a single island continent with 91% of its surface covered by water. The single continent was populated by a primitive species known as the Brozul. The tribe was lead by a supreme shaman, Dizal. The presence of a certain alloy used in Romulan hull construction pushed the Empire to establish first contact with the Brozul. Being short on troops at the moment, they decided to use their technological superiority to assure the cooperation Dizal and the Brozul. They offered low level technology to the shaman, who saw the offering as magical artifacts and in return he provided the manpower needed to the mining operations. No large number of troops were ever station on the surface with about 50 Romulans present at anytime, tough the Romulans did establish a orbital station to keep an eye over Dizal in case he ever tried to turn on the Romulans.
