The Nomad Souls were a group of ancient beings that were focused on the annihilation of inferior beings in the galaxy. Their leader, Rahk'neqah, considered himself a prophet, and sought to bring about an event known only as the Cleansing to the galaxy, with the help of four other Nomad Souls. Very little was known of these beings, or what their purpose was. The only recent interactions had been through Cadden Blackthorne after he was possessed by Rahk'neqah and Alexis Kiara (later Jay'arah), possessed by Aliah'ara. Prior to this, all Nomad Souls had been extremely prudent in keeping their true identities a well-kept secret through the millennia of their existence.
