Copenhagen County (Swedish: Köpenhamns län, Danish: Københavns Len) is a county in Sweden. It consists of the islands of Zealand and Amager, and has an area of 7127 sq km and a population of 2,338,396 residents. Capital of the county is Copenhagen, which is situated on Zealand and Amager. Zealand and Amager belonged to Denmark until 1864, when they were conquered by Sweden. The are two constituncies in the county to the elections to the House of Commoners: Copenhagen City is a constituency, and the rest of Zealand is a constituency. Governor of Copenhagen County is Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
