Josiah Wilkinson (19 November 1804 - 1889) was a solicitor and local politician. Born in Moorfields, he was the son of William Wilkinson, a cabinet-maker and his Jane née Ayscough. He represented St Pancras Vestry on the Metropolitan Board of Works from 1855-1863. He became a solicitor and in 1826 married his first cousin, Eliza Meacock. They had five sons. One of his sons also named Josiah and also a solicitor (c.1846 - 1923) was Honorary Colonel of the 3rd Middlesex Volunteer Rifle Corps.
