| - Force Healing, otherwise known as Force Heal, Cure or Health, is a power that uses the Force to rapidly accelerate the natural healing process. Initial levels require meditation, but greater aptitude usually grants faster regeneration without the need of meditation. Greater levels of attainment are also able to mend far more severe injuries, even complete damage to flesh and bone, and going as far as to mend internal damage, such as damage to the heart, lungs and so forth. There are limits however, as Force Healing has not been shown to be capable of regenerating lost limbs. Although this power is mostly the domain of the Light Side, Darksiders have developed their own variations to it. The main difference is that the Dark Side is only shown to be able to heal something temporarily - or as long as the power is applied - whereas normal Force Healing doesn't have to be applied again after the wound has been treated. Generally, this is referred to as Dark Repair. In one curious exception, Jedi Lyn-Char Beorht was able to keep some of his healing abilities when he fell to the Dark Side. This phenomenon was studied at length by Detori Order scholar Ald Sorosel. Since Beorht's redemption, and later his death, Sorosel is possibly the only Darksider in the galaxy who can truly Heal.
