F-Laser (possibly meaning "Firefly-Laser"), known as Will Laser (ウイルレーザー Uiru Rēzā?) in Japan, is the Special Weapon that Mega Man X receives from Izzy Glow in Mega Man X5. In normal fire, X sends out a remote-controlled firefly-like projectile. It is useful for finding something in tight spaces, if it is guided properly. The F-Laser will remain on the screen until it either hits a wall or an enemy, X is hit while controlling the weapon or it leaves the screen. Aside from the actual weapon itself, any moving enemies that make contact with the light trail that the F-Laser leaves behind will take damage. Charged up, X fires a large laser beam.

En Modo Normal, X lanza una especie de luciérnaga-proyectil el cual puede guiarse hacia cualquier dirección, esta habilidad permanecerá en la pantalla hasta que este golpee una pared, el suelo o un enemigo, el destello que deja detras la luciérnaga puedes causar daño. En Modo Cargado, X dispara un láser, este traspasa el escenario pero solo dura pocos segundos. En el nivel de Dark Dizzy: Escape "The Space Trap!" llegando casi al final del segundo nivel habrá supuesta caída pero en realidad abajo esta una de las Capsulas del Dr. Light, esta contiene la parte de la cabeza de la Gaea Armor (para conseguirla necesitaras el F-Laser). El F-Laser es la debilidad de Dark Dizzy.
