Bill Kimmel (September 23, 1928 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Clarksville, IN. He is the father of NASCAR driver and ARCA mega-champion Frank Kimmel and in his own NASCAR career competed in three Nextel Cup Series races in his career. Kimmel's debut came in 1969, when he raced at Daytona, competing in the Daytona 500 Qualifier event. Starting 20th in the field of twenty-seven, Kimmel broke an axle early in the race and finished 24th. But he still managed to race in the 500, finishing 46th after an early engine issue.

Kimmel's final series race came in 1970, when he again tried to get into the Daytona 500 through the Qualifier event. Starting 25th, Kimmel had a much better go of it this time, completing all but nine laps and finishing a career-best 20th. Ironically, that go round his finish was not enough to transfer into the Daytona 500.
