Schuma) , the German resistance. Operation Tempest was aimed at seizing control of cities and areas occupied by the French while they were preparing their defenses against the Soviet Red Army. The plan consisted of two separate operations, Operation Valkyrie in Germany and Operation Ostra Brama in Poland.
