Disgaea (魔界戦記ディスガイア Makai Senki Disugaia) is a series of SRPGs created and published by Nippon Ichi. The series is known for its unique setting, humour and high focus on level grinding, jobs and stat growth. Each of the games explore the Netherworld, the realm of demons, as well as Celestia, the abode of angels, and Earth, the home of humans.

* Prinny Can I Really Be the Hero, a Platform Game Spin-Off starring the titular Prinnies. Also, it's Nintendo Hard.
* Prinny 2: Dawn Of Operation Panties, Dood
* Disgaea Infinite, a Visual Novel game. All four games are highly regarded by enthusiasts of Turn-Based Strategy games for their twisted humor and myriad ways to customize and level up characters and equipment. Oh, and the Prinnies are so cute too, dood! The first two games both have PSP remakes, with the NA localization of the first entitled Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, and a DS remake of that remake, Disgaea DS. Afternoon of Darkness is known for its Etna Mode, a "What If" story where Etna accidentally kills Laharl, and takes over as the main character. The localization of Disgaea 2 PSP is entitled Dark Hero Days, complete with its own Etna Mode variant (This time telling what happened before the game started) starring the Dark Hero, Axel. And finally, a PSP Vita remake of Disgaea 3 has been announced, entitled Absence of Detention, which includes all the DLC from the PlayStation 3 version, including Raspberyl Mode, two new characters, and four new scenarios which focus on the rest of the main cast.
