About: Leviathan Bloyster   Sponge Permalink

An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : 134.155.108.49:8890 associated with source dataset(s)

The Leviathan Bloyster isn't so much a foe as it is a creature that helps out. It is a giant filter-feeding creature that remains dormant, slumbering in shallow water. Due to its size, it seems to be an island with a strange plant growing on the backside. These are the creatures' gills. If Pikmin are made to swarm around the base of the "tail" they will climb up to the gills and give them a tap, waking up the creature. It will slowly begin to move like a great ship across the water, often bringing you and your Pikmin to places that you thought you could never reach previously. After circling its trail and returning to the spot where it was awakened, it will go back to sleep unless you want to ride it again. It makes appearances in two watery above-ground areas and even in some dungeons!
