The tom stepped out from his hiding place beneath the log. His curious blue eyes narrowed. " Salutations. " He spoke with a soft tone, not showing as much of a threat to the other than first expected. His pelt glistened under the starlight, making himself appear smaller than he actually was. The egyptian mau/Bengal mix stepped further into the small clearing, showing how lean and tall he actually was. He sat down, his brown pelt and white underbelly standing out among the shadows. Brackenheart is a loyal, sometimes quiet warrior. He has gone through tough times, but he will never back down.

  • The tom stepped out from his hiding place beneath the log. " I am Brackenheart, a proud member of my home, Stormclan." The brute's voice held a faint trace of mystery. "Let me tell you a bit about myself." He then settled down, wrapping his long tassle over his mitts. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Description:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Brackenheart ( Bracken for short ) is a tall, light brown cat with distinct dark brown stripes and a white underbelly. At first meeting him, he can come off a little too quiet, which may be a little misleading from his actual personality. In all reality, he is an active, loyal and hardworking cat who would serve his clan no matter the situation. Bracken has ended few lives, which can get him some suspicions from others, although he only does what he thinks is right, not what others influences persuade him to do. He is a skilled fighter, using more logic and technique than force. Brackenheart will always stand beside his clanmates, not letting his differences take control. The skinny brown tom glanced at the newly dug grave beside him, his blue eyes dull with grief. Looking down at his crimson and dirt covered mitts, he sighed. As he washed his paws, his ears pricked with alarm. Instantly, he sprang up, his messy pelt bristling. His lips curled back into a snarl, although he showed no signs that he was able to fight off another attack. Out of the undergrowth came a lean and swift-looking fae. Her dark grey pelt shining. She showed no hostility, obviously she had known that he was not ready for another attack. " Greetings, " She mewed, her voice soft but cautious. "Why are you here? Lost? Are you from another clan?" She then glanced at the grave behind him, her eyes widening. "Ah.." She thought to herself for a minute, her forest green eyes staring blankly at the ground. " Where do you live?" she finally asked after a few moments. He wondered if he should answer, who knows if other cats could be waiting to attack him. But the fae simply looked to him, calm. He trusted her enough, and with a weak voice he said, " Nowhere, and who are you? What's with all the questions?" The tom looked to her, feeling somewhat annoyed. "I am Tornsoul, loyal deputy to my home of Stormclan. And you are...?" " Oak, but that name is dead to me now." He looked to his paws, remembering how his sister used to call him that. But she was dead now, the badgers had taken her life with little effort. Almost taking his as well. "You seem like a very lost and broken cat. May I offer you a place in Stormclan? You will be fed, taken care of, and you won't be forced to do everything on your own." Tornsoul said with a spark of pride in her eyes. Oak nodded, not wanting things to get worse now that he was on his own. " Great choice, now please, follow me to Stormclan's camp." And with that, Oak followed the deputy into the depths of the forest into an unknown future. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Time warp to the camp entrance ::::::::::::::::::::::::::Oak looked around at all the cats in the camp his blue eyes wide with disbelief. "What? Never seen so many cats in one place?" Tornsoul teased. Oak chuckled, some of his old spirit returning even though he still felt as if he were the smallest mouse among the ocean cats. They crossed camp, leading to a small isolated den. "Dark! I have brought a new cat. We may have a new warrior." Tornsoul spoke to the den entrance. Just then, a large black and grey cat padded out of the den. The two cats spoke quietly to each other, Oak didn't feel like eavesdropping. After a minute, the large cat beckoned them both into the den with a flick of his tail. As he sat on the mossy floor, he looked around to the two cats. "I am Darkstar, leader of Stormclan. My deputy says that she believes you could make an addition to our fine group of warriors. She did tell you about the life of a clan on the way here, correct?" Oak nodded. "Good. Well then, you will be needing a new name. From this moment on, you will be known as Brackenheart. Prove that you can live up to your warrior name, and welcome to Stormclan." Brackenheart is a loyal, sometimes quiet warrior. He has gone through tough times, but he will never back down.
