Before joining PSAf, Vusumuzi worked as a Senior Staff Writer for The Standard newspaper in Harare, one of the three newspapers under the Alpha Media Holdings stable owned by Trevor Ncube. He also served as a correspondent for the international news agency Inter Press Service (IPS), UN Integrated Regional Information Network (IRIN News).
