The obstacles include hurdles (which Kermit can jump over), Camilla, Foo-Foo, manholes, cones and fire hydrants. Kermit must avoid crashing into Fozzie and Gonzo. There isn't a set number of "lives" in this game. When Kermit hits an obstacle, he falls down and looks disgruntled, then gets up and continues with the race. The disincentive for hitting obstacles is a score penalty. At the end of the game, Kermit grins and holds a 1st Place trophy. Tiger made another Muppet handheld game, Coach Kermit, in 1994.
