Mantellas are small, poisonous frogs in the genus Mantella. They are endemic to Madagascar and bear a close resemblance to the poison dart frogs of Central and South America. Like poison dart frogs, Mantellas secrete pumiliotoxins and allopumiliotoxins through their skin, and also like poison dart frogs, they are popular pets.
