- The K'vort-class (or K'Vort-class) was a type of Klingon Bird-of-Prey light cruiser starship in Imperial Defense Force service in the 24th century. (TNG episode: "Yesterday's Enterprise"; Decipher RPG module: Starships) The K'Vort was similarly used as a patrol and pursuit craft in the mirror universe, by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. By the 2370s, the K'Vort was one of the most common and expendable vessels in Regent Worf's fleet. (DS9 episodes; CCG set: Mirror, Mirror)
- The K'Vort-class warship was a type of starship used by the Klingon Empire during the 24th century. The K'Vort was built using the same plans as the smaller B'rel-class bird-of-prey. It is a more powerful starship than its smaller cousin and includes rear facing weapons to cover the aft of the vessel, which was a vulnerability of the B'rel class ships. Unlike the B'rel they are not designed to land on the surface of a planet. The class also was designed to act as a troop transport allowing for around 1,200 troops to be crammed into the vessel.

The class proved to be a popular design and many saw service in the Klingon Defense Force and House militaries. Due to its low cost and maintenance when compared to larger Klingon vessels, such as the Vor'cha-class, making it attractive to smaller Houses. It also saw much variation with individual Houses building the craft to various dimensions from around 250 m to close to 700 m given the resources available to that House or simply due to personal preference.
