The 155mm XM7E2 MARG is an extremely powerful anti-armor weapon developed by TAR. It is an extremely powerful weapon for a simple reason; there is no limit to how much you can charge a railgun. Previous railguns designed by the UNSC have been flawed for various reasons. The most noticeable of reasons were the rail wearing problem. The friction caused by the shell skidding against the rails when firing caused these gun to break down often. TAR remedied this issue with developing a new classified material to use for the rails. It has iron at the center to retain its magnetism while not being broken by itself. Now it has become TAR's most successful anti-tank gun.

| - The 155mm XM7E2 MARG is an extremely powerful anti-armor weapon developed by TAR. Development started in 2557 for use on project Doom Turtle. The weapon was a success but the platform was a failure. This sparked work on project Doom Cannon. The gun was to be featured on the M577 MBT/SHT tank to increase firepower. This gun is the the most powerful anti-armor weapon featured on any tank used in the post-war era. The gun's performance depends on the platform its mounted on. For example, the Doom Cannon takes 20 seconds to charge the capacitors. Shell reloading is done in much less time due to an autoloader. There are SPG platforms that are dedicated to mounting this BFG. This weapon is capable of hitting targets in space and is comparable in damage to the Mammoth's 36cm Mini-MAC.
