  • Structural converter are microprocessors used primarily in Terran robotics. Developed by the Kawamori-Takara Corporation, they responsible for coordinating the transformations in many types of machines utilized by the Terrans (Transformers G1: Transformation Cog; Command & Conquer - Red Alert: VX-line). Prototype Siege Tanks were the first vehicles to use these devices successfully before mass production. After the Great and Brood War, structural converters became more advanced to handle newer lines of war machines. Some companies began developing their own converters once the patent expired. Some of the most popular ones include: the Proteus chip, X-Converter, and Transformation Module. All of which are equally effective in any type of transforming machine.
