- Alvania was the queen of Ranroon during the time of the Great Galactic War, a descendent of Hylei Indrexu Cortess, a queen who became a prominent figure in Xim's empire. She collaborated with the Sith Empire when it invaded her world, as she viewed it to be better than the Galactic Republic, by helping them identify locations of Republic troops stationed on the planet. For this, she was allowed to remain as the monarch of her planet, though with greatly reduced powers. Her regime was widely viewed as a puppet state, and many former allies withdrew their support and evacuated their embassies and consulates on Ranroon after that. She continued this until the Cold War, when a resistance movement began fighting against her regime.
