| - CTC-502, nicknamed Mech, was a Clone commander and tank commander active throughout the Clone Wars. Gaining fame alongside the well-known 501st Battalion, Mech made a name for himself as the GAR's greatest tank commander, gaining multiple victories and inspiring commanders that followed in the succeeding generations due to his skill in combat and his tactical sense. Born on Kamino, a clone of bounty hunter Jango Fett, Mech trained at first to command an IFT-X fighter tank, receiving the designation CTC-502 before first seeing action on Geonosis. Following the battle, Mech was deployed to the 501st Battalion as their vehicle expert and supreme armoured commander, switching his role to that of a HAVw A6 Juggernaut, an enormous vehicles often nick-named the 'Turbo Tank'. In the 501st's larger operations, Mech served as a skilled tank commander and an excellent tactician and strategist, often lending advice to Jedi General Anakin Skywalker before large battles. When the 501st was not using Mech, the Clone was often transferring himself and his armoured divisions to other GAR units to assist them, including the 212th Attack Battalion, 327th Star Corps and the 44th Special Forces Division. Mech's final operation came mere months before the end of the Clone Wars during Operation: Colossus, the opening battle of the Outer Rim Sieges. The 44th and the 501st launched a joint offensive against the formerly-Hutt and now CIS-controlled worlds of Ylesia and Nyrvona. Mech joined the 44th, commanding a seperate battalion codenamed Yotta Battalion. Mech led his divisions against the strong CIS defence, though during one of the last stages of the battle, Mech's tank was destroyed by a automated turret in Ylesia's capital of Kovon. The Clone escaped the tank before it was exploded, though he was mortally wounded, and died in the arms of a Ylesian local.
