  • Dave Simpson is a former NASCAR driver from Torrance, CA. He competed in seven Nationwide Series events in his career. Simpson's debut came in 1988, when he competed at Charlotte. Starting 32nd in the field of forty-four, Simpson crashed out of the race 114 laps into the race and struggled to 32nd. Simpson's final six races came in 1989, when he drove with sponsorship from Simpson Safety Equipment . It was for the most part a tough serason for the driver, failing to finish three of his starts and only cracking the top twenty-five just thrice during the year. Those runs were a career-best 18th place showing at Hickory, a 21st at Bristol and a 25th at Nazareth in his final career start. External Links *Stats
