The desperate Danuar, expecting a final strike from Tiamat which would doom their race forever, decided it would not be their fate to fall. As such, they used their previous inventions to base the design for a new overlord weapon. With time, they designed a small army of petraliths, powered by Ide, which they called Hyperions. As a response, Daevas are sent to this hangar to put an end to the imminent threat this posed. Destroying it would be the only option, despite of how beneficial this warmachine would be for Elyos or Asmodians.

  • The desperate Danuar, expecting a final strike from Tiamat which would doom their race forever, decided it would not be their fate to fall. As such, they used their previous inventions to base the design for a new overlord weapon. With time, they designed a small army of petraliths, powered by Ide, which they called Hyperions. Scattered across Katalam, these petraliths stood up as their hope. Unfortunately, due to the Balaur's constant assaults on their lands, the project had been continuously set back, and as a result, their ultimate weapons did not have a chance to be deployed, sealing their future. The few remaining Danuar in Idian Depths had set up a hangar for the Hyperions, which, fearing they would fall under the Dragon Lord's claws, was destroyed to put other races in the same danger they were in, leaving only one stone giant behind. With the Danuar extinguished from Atreia, Tiamat eventually found the last working Hyperion by discovering a special portal in the underground of Katalam. To her surprise, it was not ready to be activated as it power source had been fully tampered with. Secured, she sent a request to Fregion for assistance; which never reached his ears as Beritra silenced her messenger, which led to her final breath in Tiamaranta. Having betrayed another Dragon Lord, Beritra began taking over the lands of Katalam previously occupied by Tiamat. Making its way to the last Hyperion, through blades and blood, Beritra found himself in a similar position as his previous fiend. As a result, his researchers were sent all over Katalam to acquire Danuar records to learn the secrets of Ide and how to weaponise it. After pillaging old tombs, facilities and making some own experiments, Beritra's efforts proved to be a success. Fooling a Daeva to perform the risky task of activating the weapon, his wishes came true as he had acquired a weapon which would grant him the power to favour the war to his side. As a response, Daevas are sent to this hangar to put an end to the imminent threat this posed. Destroying it would be the only option, despite of how beneficial this warmachine would be for Elyos or Asmodians.
