| - __NOINDEX__ Santa Teresa White Sand Surfing Beach in Costa Rica was, touristy speaking, built during the last 11 - 12 years. Surfing and crystal water was the main attraction for people that come and visit us. Is one of the only places on earth where the jungle meets the beach, we have dense vegetation, animals like howler monkeys, iguanas, white face monekeys, frogs, birds, pizotes, mapaches, squirrels and more. The entire town is located near Cabo Blanco National Park and you can see the the town is very protected from insutrial fishing, beach lot zoning developments, condos and others.

There is now lots of action compared to the old times when farmers runned the town. Still a more a sport than a party beach, but we have now 2 bars and many hotels, restaurants, we have 2 banks, pharmacy, emergency rooms, surf shops, and lots of tours and activities to enjoy. Most of the properties, hotels, bars and restaurants here are owned and runned by the owners, there is a hommy atmosphere everywhere you go. In Santa Teresa you will meet people from all around the world, many that are visiting the town but also many more that moved and live now here in nature near the beach. The town is mainle made out of 3 different beaches, Playa Carmen, Santa Teresa, and Playa Hermosa. And the closests beach towns are Mal Pais and Manzanillo. Our beach town is built all along the coast line, and you can now see some progress expanding up the ocean view hills.
