The Vanishers were a criminal organization headed by former lawman Miles Dagouter, also known as "Miles Hundredlives." They were responsible for a series of dramatic hijackings of freight cars, as well as the kidnapping of several noblewomen descended from the Lord Mistborn. They were stopped by Wax Ladrian, Wayne, and Marasi Colms, ending in the death of almost all of the Vanishers. The Vanishers were backed by a mysterious organization known as The Set, headed by Edwarn Ladrian.
