The Perimeter Watchtower Melkor is a Layil Empire military installation which appears in STAGE - II.A of Sine Mora. As its name suggests, the Melkor is positioned on the perimeter of the Bokumono Undersea Prison Facility. Myryan Magusa attacks the watchtower in order to create a diversion while Ronotra Koss infiltrates the prison itself via an underwater service tunnel. After Myryan destroys its defences and central support column, the Melkor spirals down into the depths below and crashes into the seabed.

- Melkor is a Peacekeeper Lieutenant with the command of a small commando squad, that sneaks on board Moya in the Farscape episode "Exodus from Genesis". The first thing they discover are what they belive to be the dead body of Aeryn Sun, not knowing that it's only one of the Drak replicants. While they move through the ship towards the command they encounter several Drak replicants. Melkor ends up being the only one of his squad that don't easily subcomes to the Sebacean Heat Delirium, and ends up striking a deal with Crichton about leaving Moya and give Crais a message from him.
- Melkor (Quenya;IPA: "He Who Arises In Might"), later known predominantly as Morgoth, was the first Dark Lord, and the primordial source and primordial deity of evil things in Eä. Originally the most powerful of the Ainur created by Eru Iluvatar, Melkor rebelled against his creator out of pride and sought to corrupt Arda, becoming Morgoth. After committing many evils in the First Age, such as the theft of the Silmarils and the destruction of the Two Lamps and the Two Trees of Valinor, Morgoth was defeated by the Host of Valinor in the War of Wrath and cast out of Arda into the Void, where he now waits.
- Lieutenant Melkor was a Peacekeeper commando and the leader of a squad assigned to one of many Marauders sent by Captain Crais to find Moya. His squad discovered and boarded the Leviathan during its encounter with the draks. Unknown to them, the draks had taken over much of the ship, raising the heat to temperatures intolerable for Sebaceans. As they moved through the ship, the squad also discovered several members of the crew, not realizing that they were in fact cloned replicants of Moya's crew. In spite of the intense heat and the hesitance of his squad, Melkor pressed on. When they finally reached command, he and his squad barely had the energy to move, putting them in an unfavorable condition to be confronted by John Crichton himself.
