Dillard Cole is Finn Whitman's closest friend that isn't a Kingdom Keeper. Due to his size, Dillad is often picked on and his size has helped clear a gap in the crowd so The Kingdom Keepers could get through. He grew away from Finn because of Finn's involvement with The KKs but they have recently renewed their friendship. Dillard helped The KKs twice in Kingdom Keepers IV: Power Play. He hid one of The KKs phones in each of the Disney Parks and later rolled a barrel at Shan Yu and the Hun Army so Finn and Charlene could escape. In Kingdom Keepers V: Shell Game, Dillard rescued Finn from being killed by Pirates on The Disney Dream and later helped Finn get past Greg Luwoski to talk to Storey Ming.

After Finn joined the Keepers, Finn began to hang out with them more than Dillard, but in Disney in Shadow, he helped out the Kingdom Keepers by doing some things in the parks. That is how they started to become friends again. When they're gone, Dillard stands there with the knife in his chest and Tia Dalma is laying on the table. Finn pulls the knife out and catches Dillard from falling to the ground. Finn carries him to a cave where Dillard dies moments later.
