| - The sigil of the sun is a circle with a dot at its center. Therefore it means ‘the sun’ is the focus of a total being. As Spinoza once said “God is a circle whose center is everywhere and circumference is nowhere”. The Planetary metaphor ‘the sun’ is a single center removed from Spinoza’s Godhead theory. Each of us theoretically has a principled focus of action in which we are attached to, however complicated it may be, or how much it wavered from or avoided. The sun is the ‘getting to the point’ furthermore it is becoming the point. Why do you exist in the first place? Why do you choose to continue existing? What point are you trying to prove with your continued existence? Essentially the sun can be summed up as becoming, in the Socratic sense. One is always becoming more of what he chooses to become. This also, is the reason for the cabbalists to choose Tipareth to be the sun, being the sixth sephiroth of the kabala. Another important point of the symbol the sun is not just essential belief, but also essential meaning, it is the need to center ones life around a specific point, and then see that point as the gravitation which holds all lesser meanings of ones life in place. It is the a priori argument of ones awareness. The sun also is what allows one to thrive in the world, it allows for warmth, as well as the growth of sustenance for a being, it becomes the light of sustenance for all other surrounding beings, or their sustenance, as your light becomes more centered, and therefore stronger. It is important at this point to remember the principle of virgo, which is the existential mission of dealing with the burden of becoming. At any moment, one has the ultimate choice of what he is allowing himself to become, what poisons are leaking into this becoming? How is this becoming going to affect the rest of the matrix? These are important dangers of becoming. As once one decides wholly upon his being within the matrix. He has chosen his total effect upon the matrix, and thus his role and his destiny. Your personal ‘sun’ forever charts your course, as it points to the focus of your being so whatever it may be, be sure it is worthwhile, and that it is remembered at every peak, and just as importantly, at every valley of your being.
