  • The Particle Cannon (German: Partikelkanone) is a powerful energy weapon found in Wolfenstein.
  • The Particle Cannon is a beam weapon utilized by all Pirate Aerotroopers in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The devices fire blue-colored beams, not dissimilar to the Hyper Beam, and are affixed to one of the trooper's Remote Attack Pods. Gandrayda wields a variation of the Particle Cannon in her Aerotrooper-G form: the beam is now purple and electrocutes Samus.
  • Particle cannons are built to destroy enemy planetary defenses. Their penetrating power depends on the distance to the target planets. Excess energy is used to generate particles. Every level completed increases the particle accumulation by 20,000.
