The Marzipan system was a star system located within the Inner Rim of the galaxy. It contained five planets, Marzipan (the planet after which it was named), Jeltooine, Kadiian, and two others, and was protected and patrolled by the Marzipanian Army. The system was very rich because of the markets and spaceports on each planet, and because of the trading between other systems. The Marzipan system attracted many different species because it had such a large protection force. Therefore, many refugees came to the planet in search of a safe place to live. The system as a whole hosted a diverse variety of species, with the majority of the population made up of Humans. The system's symbol color was purple which was also the color of the armor that Marzipan Army soldiers wore.
