| - Iron Monger (real name: Obadiah Stane) is a supervillain and co-founder of Stark Industries along with his partner Howard Stark. His weapons are exactly like Iron Man, except his are bigger.
- Obadiah Stane was the business partner of Tony Stark and a good friend of his father, Howard Stark. After Howard Stark's death, Stane became CEO of Stark Industries until Tony Stark came of age and took over, as a result Stane lost his position of power he had enjoyed for years. Stane's jealousy of the younger Stark led him to join forces with the Ten Rings to organize a failed attempt to assassinate him so Stane could become CEO once again. When this failed Stane created the Iron Monger Armor and attempted to kill Stark himself, leading to his own death.

- Dinah Leiandra Frost was born Dinah Leiandra Stane but was never legitimized due to concerns by Obidiah's lawyers about legal issues that may arise from having a child out of wedlock with another woman. Dinah's mother, Jayna Frost was told by the lawyers of Obidiah Stane that Dinah would be taken care of the remainder of her life, but would never know who her father was. From that point on, all contact between Jayna, Dinah and Obidiah were severed. Dinah lived a normal life, she grew up in Westchester County, New York and attended The Masters School.
