Baalak was a rare enchanted bamboo native to humid, tropical ocean shores. It had light green, hairy leaves about 1' long, and its flowers resembled those of corn; it frequently grew 8' or more high. A tea brewed from young baalak stalks magically repaired shattered bones. If ingested improperly, baalak was a strong poison.
