Microsoft Internet Explorer’s XML rendering is broken by Netscape 8, Microsoft says remove Netscape 8, buzz crew says try Firefox instead.
  • Microsoft has bloggers shilling for Longhorn a.k.a. Vista. Sony robot Qrio is going to school in San Diego since March. It falls down a lot. San Francisco has free Wi-Fi by a private company. Twenty states are trying to stop city government supported Wi-Fi. Adam Curry is the “podfather” and is going to have a podcast show on Sirius Radio.
  • Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith was a good movie, according to Tom and Molly. Netscape 8 was released and patched within 24 hours. HP Lance Armstrong Live Strong L2000 laptop released, no it is not yellow. Google has a personalized page and you can drag things around.
  • Google went down Saturday, redirected to another site. Palm has NDA on Life Drive but everybody is talking about it and Amazon has it listed on their site. Michael Dell invests 99.5 million dollars in Red Hat. Sample code for two exploits in Firefox released.
  • PVR, or are they DVR, are selling well. FTC requests ISP to shutdown spam zombies. Nokia announces tablet/PDA, a.k.a. the Nokia 770. Don’t fill fluorescent light tubes with gasoline and use them as a light sabers.
  • E3 news, Sony Play Station 3 is the center of the buzz. Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will be in the theaters. Spoof video crashes British Military servers. Senator Ted Stevens Social Security Number can be had for $60 on the internet.
  • Computer submerged in oil, it is really quiet. MTV’s Xbox 360 special all over the internet. Yahoo announces subscription music service in WMA format. “MP3 is never going to be the business model” says Tom. Molly hates iTunes but loves her pink iPod “Mr. Pink”.
  • Verizon says that cell phones are not supposed to work in your house. California has a bill to prevent selling of violent video games to minors. Microsoft releases Windows Mobile 5 “Magneto” . Molly likes her Treo 600 but is thinking about a Windows mobile device.
