| - Billie Harvey is a former NASCAR driver from Delray Beach, FL. He competed in eight Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Harvey's debut came in 1980, when he competed at Charlotte. Starting 37th in the field of forty-two, Harvey crashed out of the race late and finished 27th. Luckily, Harvey improved significantly after that. He recorded a career-best finish of 11th in his next outing at Pocono and then closed out the year 16th at Talladega and 17th at Michigan. Harvey scaled it down to a two-race schedule during the 1981 season, electing to compete in both Daytona. Harvey, in fact, did make the prestigious Daytona 500, but early engine woes left him 41st. Unfortunately, he also finished 41st in the July event due to a crash. Harvey then only made a single appearance during the 1982, but doing so back in the grand Daytona 500. Yet again, though, Harvey found no luck at the track. He blew a valve just six laps into the race and finished 39th. Harvey's final career start came in 1983, when he changed his venue to Talladega. Starting 30th in the field, Harvey could still not find the results he was looking for as a first lap crash dumped him to 37th.
