Carson St. Clair was the son of former party leader Jonathan St. Clair. He was the grandson of Emerson and Erika St. Clair. He was the nephew of Amelia St. Clair. St. Clair was elected to the Senate in 2661 at the age of 17. Less than three months after his election, St. Clair became leader of the party. On December 2, 2661, he married Catherine Goldsmith. He was 18 and she was 17. On January 7, 2663, Goldsmith gave birth to their twin sons, Michael and Francis. On April 5, 2664, Catherine gave birth to Charlotte and Dorothea. He died on August 4, 2674, at the age of 31, after a heroin overdose.
