An archaeological dig on Miltoa was one of the holographic programs available on the USS Prospect-A. We assume this was Lansing's personal holoprogram. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Directive") Miltoa was most likely near the Federation-Klingon border as the Klingons destroyed the Miltoan moon E'ria in 2268.
