- Jareth is a character originally featured in the film Labyrinth. He's portrayed by JewWario.

- Agent Jareth is an Uruk-hai, one of the few orc varieties employed by the PPC (others known include Zodfang Gobrunt, Kur'nak, and an unnamed Tolkienverse orc who worked in the DIS). He was originally written by Rath, but later adopted by Huinesoron. His true name is Nazurk, so his partner, Agent Takua, calls him "Naz-mini." He is a licensed Sun Crusher pilot in the Department of Geographical Aberrations. During the Macrovirus Epidemic, his and Takua's Sun Crusher was the only uncontaminated one.
- Jareth the Goblin King is the powerful villainous king of the Goblins and the main antagonist of the 1986 dark fantasy movie, Labyrinth. Although a villain, Jareth was not necessarily a purely evil character and was more accurately amoral, seeking to please the young girl he fell in love with by granting her wish to have her baby brother "disappear". However, his method of kidnapping and plan to turn the baby into a goblin were villainous as were the tricks and obstacles he set in play to ensure the heroes of the film would not make it to his castle in time to stop the curse he had placed.
- Jareth became the TP (Tiny Plot) Wizard in 2005 after retiring from another wiz position. Jareth enjoys working directly with the player base and in his nearly five years of play on SW1 he has played both FC and FU characters and is still a very active player. Jareth has a SW1 website which offers advice and information on tiny plot formats, story design, creating interesting NPCs, running a TP and applying to the RPA.

- Jareth was an Enaran leader during the "resettlement" of the so-called Regressives. His daughter Korenna was in love with a Regressive named Dathan Alaris, who told her that regressives were being killed rather than resettled. Jareth was played by actor Bruce Davison.
- Jareth is the villain of Labyrinth. He is the Goblin King, ruling over the creatures that populate the Labyrinth and the Goblin City at its center. Jareth is smitten with Sarah, the film's heroine. He grants her wish to have her infant half brother Toby taken away from her, but to her horror he intends to turn the baby into a goblin. Sarah's quest to retrieve the baby from Jareth drives the film's story. Jareth was performed by David Bowie with Michael Moschen performing Jareth's juggling trick, and Tim Condren serving as Bowie's double.
