This kekkei genkai allows its users to generate and manipulate obsidian. Obsidian is useful for physical attacks and reinforcing his taijutsu, and is also highly advantageous, in a more advanced usage, for its ability to contain and expel contaminatory or negative substances, energy or feeling, ranging from negative emotions to poison, amongst others. It can act as a wide range of dangerous substances such as poison or acid, depending on the exact mixture of chakra which the user puts into its creation.
