| - Daniel Holtz is a fictional character on the television series Angel. He was played by Keith Szarabajka.
- Daniel 'Danny' Holtz, a former college baseball player, was murdered in 1964 outside of a gay bar by Timmy O'Brien and 2 of his friends. He was in a secret relationship with his friend Henry 'Hank' Philips, who went to Penn State with him. When it was discovered he was gay, he quit the baseball team because his team was being verbally abusive to him. Deborah, his girlfriend, also found out when she saw Danny and Hank kissing. But they remained friends until his death. Danny then changes into his baseball uniform, the one he was murdered in, and tips his hat to his mother before walking away.
- Unlike many other villains in Angel, Holtz was a force for good as he killed vampires. He became an antivillain after making a deal with a demon to help Holtz get revenge on Angel in the future. He is the main antagonist of the third season. Holtz discovered Angel had a soul and his son Connor. He planned to abduct the son and with one of his followers they would raise him as their own to make Angel feel pain. This failed when the Sahjaan showed up opening a portal to a hell dimension. Holtz jumped in with Connor raising him as his son and teaching him to slay vampires and demons.
